Forbidden Love

Scene: Winston trying to find a place where he can sit with Julia at lunch in the cafeteria.
Twist: At a high school cafeteria; a nerdy guy trying to subtly sit with one of the popular girls whom he is dating.
Story:
How am I going to do this? I can’t just take a new table. That wrecks
everyone’s system just like a new seating plan in English class. But
every table has an assigned social group. We got the; preps, jocks,
lacrosse, cool asians, nerdy asians, regular nerds, the burnouts, the
smokers, the Bob Marley patrons, rowers, girls who eat their feelings
and right beside them the girl who don’t eat anything, the people who
don’t fit in anywhere except with themselves, and of course, the
plastics. The group of hottest girls in the school who control all our
lives. Guess who’s dating one of them? This guy right here. But here’s
the thing with dating one of the hottest girls in the school, it has its
moments don’t get me wrong, but you can’t just go out into the open
with them at school. Even going to out in public is a little scary, we
try to avoid it. If anyone see’s us together she gets exiled from her
group of plastics and I get to be hanged, drawn, and quartered but all
the jocks. So we can’t just sit out in the open where everyone can see
us, (medieval execution doesn’t really appeal to me that much) and no
way in hell is this D&D fan going to man up and sit with the
plastics. This just won’t happen today, plus my friends are calling me
over so that just put another gaping hole in the plan. Well, I will go
for round two tomorrow. I will get there a little earlier next time.
Then this weekend we can go into market square where there are none of
the little spies whose only purpose is to seek and destroy relationships
using the dangerous weapon of gossip. “Hey guys how are you doing
today?”
